“Over the past year New Life Church, which is the liscence holder of Maple Lane Early Learning Academy, has made the difficult decision to discontinue their role as the liscence holder. There were a number of factors considered by the leadership at New Life in determining that the relationship was no longer viable. As a result of this decision, June 14, 2024 will be the last day of classes at Maple Lane Early Learning Academy. We are very thankful for the dedicated staff team at Maple Lane and know that they will continue to provide the quality program they have been known for to the students who are currently enrolled, from now through June 14, 2024. After 45 years of servicing families in Collingwood, Maple Lane has become a household respected name for children to learn and grow in our community. Management, along with current and previous staff want to thank each and every family for entrusting your precious little ones in our care over the years. It has been an honour and pleasure to know them! We are beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to watch them grow and achieve incredible strides during their time at Maple Lane.

Maple Lane is a non-for-profit preschool operating within New Life Collingwood. Maple Lane began offering program over 43 years ago. Maple Lane has established a play-based program that enriches and nurtures early learning within our community.

The Learning Environment
At Maple Lane, we are dedicated to pursuing emergent learning. We believe children learn best when they are the architects, developers and researchers for their own learning. Programming is largely based on identified student interests and areas of curiosity. We are always striving to meet and support a child's learning by providing opportunities to scaffold their learning.
SCHOOL ELIGIBILITY
Requirements for Enrollment
We are a licensed child care program for children aged 2.5 - 6 years of age. We offer program for up to 32 children per day. Our morning class is offered from 8:30 am - 11:30 am. Extended Day learning classes are offered from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm. Children are required to have begun toilet training as per our licenseing.
